I’m speaking of the obvious: the pandemic has ruined many people’s plans in many different ways. Look, I know others have had much worse consequences of the pandemic, but, I REALLY miss traveling. I know one year of no travel isn’t the end of the world, so these words come from the privilege of regularly traveling. Even more than physically traveling, which I technically could, I desperately long for the mental luxury when every cough or sneeze didn’t make me anxious and when I didn’t fret about seeing my family after flying internationally. Is that too much to ask for?
